The hunt theme is Cinderella's Lost Slipper and though child avatars are welcome to participate in the hunt it is not a childrens hunt and will include mature rated sims. This hunt is for everyone in SL who would like to join in!

You will be hunting the sims for the hidden Stilletto Shoes; all sizes and Colors. that the Wicked Stepmothers have hidden from our Cindys!! so in some places you might have to look extra hard! You need a hint eh? Look for the Fairy Godmother to Help you!! The Very Last Stilleto will take u to the Mysterious Glass Slipper where u will find ur prince and live happily ever after! You must complete the hunt in order to receive ur invitation to the Cinderella Ball where Bliss Couture & Nushru has donated wonderful gifts that we will be giving out for various awards!!! This will be a formal event and top secret; the location will be given via Subscribe o matic; so when u find the last slipper look for the Subscribeomatic near it and make sure u touch it! we will give the invite to you on 12pm of the last day of the hunt! Good Luck!! We will have prizes for Best Dressed, Best HUnt Gift, and many more!!!! This Ball is for HUnters, Designers, and Staff

Some things we would like to ask of you if you are planning to participate in this hunt:
* Please refrain from contacting designers directly with any issues. All queries should be directed to redsoledrea & Akaya Gossipgirl and dedicated team of volunteers in the form of notecards only. At each location there will be a hint box; use it if the hunt gets too difficult.
*Please respect all designers, sims, and stores you are in and also respect other hunters.
*Please keep your ARC (Avatar Rendering Cost) as low as you can so as not to lag up the sims. This means not wearing items of clothing that contain lots of prims because it really slows the hunt down for everybody.
??? How do u find the ARC?? Advanced Menu > Rendering > Info Displays > Avatar Rendering Cost (u will now see a small number above ur head and other avatars around you. Please keep this number in GREEN, if ur in the red shame on u for hunting)
*Please pick up after yourself if you want to open your packages on anyones sim.
*Have fun and bring your friends!

SUMMER LOVIN' HUNT

The Summer Lovin' Hunt is all about celebrating the hot weather and having the freedom play in the sun.

To find your summer gifts, you can do one of 2 things.

Firstly, use the below landmarks as starting points to follow the chain around the 4 sims and pick up your goodies from the "RAINBOW BEACHBALLS".

Secondly, for those of you who like to explore a bit, we have also dropped random special "PINK BEACHBALLS" which could be ANYWAY as you go along, either inside, or outside the stores, hidden over each of the sims.

The lovely Trinity Serpentine and Nala Galatea have been with me since the beginning, so it's only fitting that they bring the TriNala Show to Lalique. I'll be here with my trusty dancing cow. There will be prizes. And perhaps some funny old items from SL over the years.

ACS Makeover Magic 11am SLT

Makeover Magic

SL Cancer Survivors and SL Cancer Caregivers are working together with the FACES Creative Team and a host of talented designers who have kindly agreed to donate items, to sponsor makeovers for a group of selected survivors and caregivers. The results will be shown at a fashion show on the American Cancer Society island on Sunday, June 7 - which is National Cancer Survivors Day.

Last year's fashion show was held on November 2 to coincide with the official unveiling of the makeover of the American Cancer Society sim. Five cancer survivors modeled their new outfits alongside their fashion mentors. The outfits were kindly donated by leading hair, clothing, skin, shape, shoe and jewelry designers in SL.

For 2009, members of the Caregivers group have also been included. Through these makeovers, our goal is to honor and pamper inworld cancer survivors and caregivers.
The Fashion Show will be hosted by FACES at ACS Island.and will feature the new looks of the chosen participants walking the runway with their model/mentors, showing off designs donated from this program's supporters.

What is 'Makeover Magic'?

'Makeover Magic' is the Second Life equivalent of a real life program, 'Look Good...Feel Better' - a free, community-based service in the USA that helps cancer survivors to restore their appearance and self-image during treatment.

The 'Look Good...Feel Better' program in real life was founded and developed in 1989 by the Personal Care Products Council, a charitable organization supported by the cosmetic industry, in cooperation with the American Cancer Society and the National Cosmetology Association (NCA),

National Cancer Survivors Day is the world's largest cancer survivor event and is held annually in hundreds of communities throughout the world on the first Sunday in June. It is a symbolic event to demonstrate that life after a cancer diagnosis can be a reality.

RFL United Forces Fashion Show June 6

United Forces Against Cancer is proud to announce a very special fashion show. This RFL team is made from some of the best clothes designers of Second Life. And they have united their forces for one cause: make cancer history.


This show will present you the latest releases and Relay for Life donation items from:

You will be able to get the donation items at the runway. All the proceeds go to cancer research.
